It's been another busy month with one job leading straight to another. This time a fashion shoot in Paris for clothing range Simply Be. Again shooting with the C300 I was asked to document the production and to make a series of intimate online films that portray the life of a model. The films should be going live in August.
Screening wise Simply Rob has a screening at the Open City Doc Fest in London as well as a screening at the East London Film Festival in July. Also I'm excited to say Eat Me, a short film I made back in 2009, has been given a new lease of life. Written and starring Lynsey Murdoch the film is an insight into the mind of a young girl with an eating disorder. After a successful screening at the CCA in Glasgow the film has been invited to screen as part of a WFTV (Women in Film and TV) programme of shorts at the BFI Southbank on the 3rd of July. Tickets for the event are available at the BFI Southbank website.
Finally the first batch of festival applications have gone out for my newest short Aeolian. A teaser trailer can be seen here.
Wish me luck...
