Well it's been a very cold but very busy month. I've just finished a new TV campaign for Dunlop's golfing collection featuring champion golfers Darren Clarke and Lee Westwood. Shot in a tiny pub in Epsom the advert demonstrates their golfing skills to humorous effect. They'll be on air sometime in April and on my website soon after.
I've also made progress on my next live action/animation short Aeolian. Shot nearly 3 years ago (oh how time flies in the world of animation) the short combines stunning cinematography with 3D animation to tell the story of a little creature who, as he grows bigger, the natural world around him grows smaller. Malick meets Studio Ghibli the film is a second collaboration with Animator Cameron Lowe following our hugely successful Award Winning live action/animated short This Is J03. The film should be finished around April time and (fingers crossed) hitting the festivals towards the end of the year. Watch out for some stills in the next month or so.
To top things off I've also been looking into investing in a new camera. I've been hugely impressed with some of the footage coming from the new generation of large sensor video cameras and with the annoucement of Canon's new C300, it might just be time to bite the bullet. Next month I'll be taking 3 cameras for a test drive - the Sony F3, the Sony FS100 and Canon's C300. Expect a full report on here towards the end of the March.
